Hotel Pickup & Transfer to Ollantaytambo
Your Machu Picchu adventure begins early, as we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 4:00 AM. From there, enjoy a comfortable 2-hour drive through the scenic Sacred Valley to reach Ollantaytambo train station.
Train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town)
At 6:10 AM, board the Expedition Train for a 1 hour and 40-minute journey to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Town. During this ride, take in incredible views of the Andes mountains, Inca terraces, and lush subtropical landscapes.
Bus to Machu Picchu & Guided Tour
Upon arrival, your expert local tour guide will escort you to the entrance of Machu Picchu via a short bus ride up the mountain. Once inside the archaeological site, enjoy a 3-hour guided walking tour through the Lost City of the Incas, exploring key attractions like the Temple of the Sun, the Main Plaza, and the Intihuatana stone.
Due to new regulations, visitors must follow predefined circuits, which your guide will expertly navigate to ensure you see the most significant sections of the ruins.
Lunch & Free Time in Machu Picchu Town
After the guided tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a selected local restaurant. Following lunch, you’ll have free time to explore the town, shop for souvenirs, or relax by the river.
Return to Cusco by Train & Car
In the afternoon, board the Expedition or Vistadome Train back to Ollantaytambo. Departure times are typically at 3:20 PM or 4:22 PM, depending on availability. From Ollantaytambo, a private vehicle will drive you back to your hotel in Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
🚆 Upgrade to Vistadome Train – Return to Ollantaytambo or Poroy
For an enhanced travel experience, you can upgrade your return to the Vistadome Train, which features panoramic windows, onboard entertainment, and snacks. Departure times are typically 4:43 PM or 5:23 PM from Aguas Calientes to Poroy Station, located just 20 minutes from Cusco City.
This 3.5-hour train ride offers one last chance to admire the beauty of the Andes. Upon arrival at Poroy Station, your driver will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco, with an expected arrival between 9:00 PM and 9:45 PM.

To begin with, to book the Machu Picchu Full Day Tour, you need to make an initial payment of $200 USD per person. After that, you can pay the remaining balance either online or in person at our office in Cusco. Moreover, you can make the deposit via We Travel, Western Union, or MoneyGram. In addition, if you rent camping and hiking gear, upgrade tours, or receive a discount on the total price, our sales team will email you the updated remaining balance, which, in turn, you will pay at our Cusco office.

Note.
- The price for group and private tour is per person. Also it requires a minimum of 2 people to run Gruop Tour to Machu Picchu

Student Discount:
To qualify for the student discount, one must be 25 years old or less at the time of entering Machu Picchu and you must submit a valid university ID with your booking. The ID must include your name, photo, and expiration date. Cards without an expiration date will not be accepted. Please bring the original student ID with you on the tour to pass the checkpoint.

Huayna Picchu | Machu Picchu Mountain
Huayna Picchu, the mountain overlooking Machu Picchu, is a 45-minute hike to the top, located next to the Machu Picchu Inca city. The descent can be steep, so it may not be suitable for those afraid of heights. This hike can be done after your Machu Picchu tour.
Machu Picchu Mountain requires a 3-hour round-trip hike. Due to its popularity, reservations should be made at least one month in advance. Please note that weather conditions are beyond our control.
Hotel: If you are doing overnight tours or treks that lead to Machu Picchu, you will be provided accommodation in a 3 star ★★★ hotel (Intipunku hotel or similar) in Aguas Calientes. For upgrades or cancellation, please enter your request in the special request box above. If you are booking a Peru Package Tour for 5 or more days, please contact our sales team.

Train: On our 1-Day journey to Machu Picchu, a round-trip ticket on the Expeditions Train is included, offering comfort and scenic views.
