Begin in Lima, where you’ll comfortably acclimate before flying to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Then, explore the Sacred Valley, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, colorful markets, and archaeological sites like Pisac and Ollantaytambo. Continue by train to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and witness the sunrise over the Lost City of the Incas.
Afterward, hike to the stunning Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) for panoramic views of the Andes, and finally, journey to Puno for a boat tour on Lake Titicaca. Visit the Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island to experience the traditions of the indigenous communities who live on the world’s highest navigable lake.

Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, meet our Inca Vision Tours representative for a transfer to your hotel in Cusco. Today is an exciting day to explore the heart of Cusco city!. Around 1 pm you will be picked up from your hotel, then You will begin your day with a private guided tour of Cusco’s most important sites. You will start with a visit to the Cusco Cathedral and Qoricancha. Later, you will see the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay (temple of water), and the statue of christ ( Cristo Blanco) to enjoy the best view in Cusco.

By the morning, after your big breakfast by 8 A.M, you will meet your guide for a trip to the Sacred Valley. Along the Valley, you will see stunning farmland of cornfield and the Urubamba River. Your private tour continue with the short visit to an Alpaca and Llama zoo, then head to an Inca cemetery at the ruins of Pisac, followed by the monolithic fortress ruins and village of Ollantaytambo. When you finish your tour, around 7 P.M, catch the train to Aguas Calientes, base town for Machu Picchu where you will stay in a comfortable stated hotel.

After your Machu Picchu tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes, enjoy lunch, and board the 2:55 PM or 3:20 PM train to Ollantaytambo. From there, our private van will take you back to Cusco, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel by 7:00 PM.

Your adventure begins with a 4:30 A.M-5:00 A.M hotel pickup in Cusco, followed by a 2.5-hour drive to Cusipata for breakfast. After breakfast, we continue on a scenic unpaved road for about 1 hour drive to the trailhead, enjoying views of stunning landscapes, deep canyons, and snow-capped peaks from the Ausangate Mountain range, herd of llamas and alpacas as well as glimpses of the Red Valley and Rainbow Mountain.
Upon arrival at the trailhead, we begin our hike. After approximately 1.5 hours of trekking, we reach the spectacular Vinicunca Mountain (Rainbow Mountain) at an altitude of 5,036 meters (16,522 feet). Here, you’ll have time to rest, take pictures, enjoy a light snack, and marvel at the vibrant colors of this natural wonder.
After taking in the incredible views, we begin our descent back to the parking area, and then drive via the same road to Cusipata for a well-earned lunch. Finally, we return to Cusco, arriving at your hotel between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM.

After your delicious breakfast, early in the morning, you will go to Puno city by bus. The comfortable, first-class bus will make stops in different traditional towns with full of history, such as Pucara, Racchi and Andahuaylillas. Upon your arrival to Puno, one of our representatives will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel or accommodation in Puno city.
Upgrade option: Ride aboard the luxurious Andean Explorer train to Puno. Depending on the season, service is limited to 3-4 weekly departures.
After breakfast, head out from the port of Puno to Uros & Taquile Islands by boat. Enjoy your excursion by first visiting Uros Islands, the most photographed attraction on Lake Titicaca. This beautiful place is steeped in tradition and culture. You will be able to sail on the famous ‘totora’ boats. Continue your journey by sailing on the ‘Mayor Lake’ that will take you to Taquile Island, a place known for its impressive textile art and for remaining very true to traditions up to this day. Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared fresh with local ingredients. After lunch, head down 533 stone steps to reach Taquile’s main port to take the boat back to Puno where you will spend the night.
After enjoying your final breakfast at your Puno hotel, one of our representatives will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the Juliaca airport to begin your journey back home. (Optional recommended excursion) – Depending on the time of your international flight, you can take the opportunity to squeeze in a private tour of Lima’s key sites. Please ask our travel advisors.
